If you’re on a keto diet, don’t just survive your super bowl party, celebrate with these healthy options for traditional themed favorites.

Enjoy this classic Super Bowl Sunday meal with Keto Twist.

Of course, Super Bowl Sunday is all about soccer, TV commercials and getting together with friends.

But let's be honest, it's also about food and alcohol.

And, if you have limited keto diet or carbs in this Super Bowl, you might think you should refrain from eating at your party.

However, this is not true.

"Having a ketogenic diet means you can still enjoy the classic Super Bowl Sunday meal, all you need to do is make a few adjustments," Christie Bryset, dietitian and founder of 60 Twenty Nutrition, told Healthline.

"Whether you're hosting or going to a party, try some of these keto options to make sure you have plenty to eat and enjoy."

Get fit with the rest of the party with these ideas and get ready to graze, enjoy and come back for a few seconds.

Sub on a stick

Put bread in favor of this low carb option.

Submarines are always hit. You can easily kick the bread for a short-curb alternative, says Devin Alexander, the celebrity chef and best-selling author of the New York Times.

"Instead of thinly slicing the deli meat and dressing, cut them into cubes and then place in a square," Alexander told Healthline. “Alternative salami, provolone, ham, cherry tomatoes, green pepper squares, olive or cherry peppers if desired. Then sprinkle with oregano-infused olive oil or your preferred vinegar (no sugar). "

You can turn this breadless sub into a chopped salad with this Alexander Antipasto Chop Salad recipe.

Chile (minus cornbread)

Vegetable turkey or chili is a hearty and healthy Sunday super bowl dish.

There’s nothing like hot peppers in a cold super bowl on Sunday. However, Alexander said that most chili peppers do not contain sugar, but some do contain significant amounts.

Cornbread is a no, though, go to the top of your peppers with chaldar or blue cheese.

Before choosing your recipe, Alexander suggests that if you are eating a lot of saturated fatty foods like salami, choose a chicken or turkey with steak or ground beef.

"Before I give anyone a lot of keto advice from a cooking standpoint, I want to warn people not to be harsh with keto, especially if they ever have reason to believe or believe they have heart problems," he said. Alexander

“Many of the foods recommended in the ketogenic diet are high in saturated fat. While they can help you lose weight, they can also help you lose weight if you are not careful, ”he said.

Naked chicken wings

Wing lovers can still fix their Super Bowl with options that include braiding and removing heavy sauces.

Restaurants and houses everywhere will be suspected of making chicken wings in the Super Bowl on Sunday. However, those on the ketogenic diet who are not "naked" version without flour must pass.

Brisette Holsoam suggests cauliflower buffalo wings like Yam.

“These are extremely simple and fit with almost any particular diet,” Brisette said.

Chicken fingers with separate flour

Breaded chicken fingers made with almond flour are sure to satisfy your super bowl party.

Perfect appetite, chicken wings are often the main one on a game day. But how can you avoid the whole mass thing?

Brisette recommends making their Paleo Chicken Fingers as bread with almond flour.

“For just three net carbs per serving (about half a chicken breast or three to four chicken strips) per serving, you can get all the crunchy, wrinkled satisfaction on the chicken wings,” Brisette said.

“Almond flour has a delicious almond flavor that I prefer over regular flour. Also, these superstar nuts contain protein, fiber and healthy fats to help you feel [fuller] and satisfied - that's the key to helping keep the bay low. "

Taco lettuce wrap

A low carb, high flavor alternative to low fat tacos.

Coming from Philadelphia, Alexander said that he was a huge fan of cheesecake lettuce wraps.

With large chunks of lettuce, "you can shave the chicken or beef and then add all the ingredients to a traditional cheese sandwich," he said.

For spicy options, check out this Chicken Taco Lettuce Wrap from the Gimme Delicious blog.

However, if you're a fan of tomato sauce and pickles, he says he uses a low-sugar tomato sauce and pickles (not sweet).

Dip the Mediterranean layer with cauliflower hummus

Choose cauliflower hummus for the traditional variety for the keto-friendly layered dip alternative.

It's not a Super Bowl party without a dip and Alexander's Mediterranean level is the right choice.

Include this type of cauliflower hummus from fatfourwetels in place of the traditional herbal hummus made with gram.

Since pita and tortilla chips are off-limits, pair them with diving with keto-friendly chips like these Keto Cheese Chips from the Dietitian Doctor.

Pizza with a twist on the crust

Search the traditional themed pizza base for healthier alternatives like portobello mushrooms.

Instead of your standard flour-based pizza, use breast veggies as the base. "Make your own keto base with portobello mushrooms like my low carb margarita pizza or some cheese and almond flour."

It's the best keto pizza recipe you can try.

“When my husband is on the Cato diet, we prepare it every week,” Brisette said.

Bring brownies

Satisfy your treats with low-carb brownies.

Halfway there you can look for something sweet.

Since touch-themed touchdowns decorated with cakes and soccer ball cookies are out of the question, consider Brisette's low carb brownies made with almond flour. They can satisfy cravings for sugar, sugar, and carbohydrates.

For other delicacies, Brisette suggests the following recipes:

Coconut chia pudding (made with stevia or erythritol)

Low Carb Peanut Butter Cookies

Avocado and chocolate mint pudding

Clear cocktail

Drink your drink with clean cocktails avoiding delicious mixers.

For many, the super bowl and alcohol go hand in hand.

Brisette says that using fewer carbs than just sugary sodas, tonic water, and juice will keep carbs low.

"Choose non-profit liquors (flavored ones contain sugar) or low-carb beer if it fits your daily carb goals. And substitute alcoholic beverages for plenty of H2O," he added.

Since tea (unsweetened) is considered a good choice on the Keto diet, and vodka, gin, whiskey, and tequila, as well as no spirits, you may want to consider Alexander's recipe for this cocktail of pasnila.

If strong alcohol isn't your thing, go for dry red and white wine.
